Pastor Nick Ohizu is a Nigerian missionary resident in Zimbabwe. He is the founding pastor of The Empowerment Ministries. A successful entrepreneur and president of the Empowerment School of Wealth which has been running successfully since 2008 and has graduated more than 1100 entrepreneurs.
In 2013 he completed the John Maxwell Leadership course and became a certified John Maxwell Leadership coach.
In 2014, the International Institute of Philanthropy, in recognition of is significant contribution to the development of humanity in the areas of education, religion and philanthropy bestowed upon him an honorary doctorate degree of Humane Letters (DHL).
In 2015, he completed his doctorate degree in Leadership and Management from Logos University, Jacksonville, Florida (USA) and became a lecturer at I Can Leadership Institute of Africa at its headquarters in South Africa.
In 2016, the Zimbabwe Business awards council awarded him the Zimbabwe top Leadership Excellency award for the Empowerment School of Wealth.He was also awarded by the International Women'S University: Degree of Honorary Doctor of Divinity and Degree of Honorary Master of Business Leadership.
In 2017, the office of the president, via the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs awarded him the award of Social Responsibility Excellency in recognition of CSR in the category of skills development.
He has authored several books and hosted several TV/Radio shows which has brought national transformation. Pastor Nick has also done Management Strategic sessions and consultancy and has been invited to speak for prestigious organizations’ events such as the Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe, Jabula New Life Covenant Church, the Ministry of Information and Technology, Astro Mobile, The Red Cross and the British Council just to mention a few. He also runs the Empowerment Consultancy, a subsidiary of the empowerment school of wealth which specialises in the facilitation of organizational strategic planning as well as providing management advisory services and training to different institutions both private and public.
Pastor Nick Ohizu is a life coach and mentor and runs the Life Coaching and Mentorship classes here at the Empowerment Centre where people are mentored to become the best versions of themselves. Annually, he hosts The Prosperity Summit with other successful entrepreneurs to empower the next generation to create generational wealth.
Pastor Nick Ohizu is married to Eunicah Ohizu and they are blessed with 3 children Salem, Majesty and Manasseh.
